What's my kind of guy?

Tall? Romantic? A sweetheart and loving? Funny? Good-looking, no doubt?
Reality check - yes, that IS my kind of  guy.

But ideally, nothing beats my attraction to guys in leather, kohl smokey eyes, choker cross necklaces, gloves, black lacquered nails, long bangs  that whips around sexily (Adam Lambert, ring a bell?)
and yes,

equipped with a
GUITAR~

To sum it all up, GUITARISTS make my eyes water with joy.

One BIG question.
How can one not get attracted someone as sexy as this??
Tora from Alice Nine.

Not just any kind of guitarist too. American or European guitarists are not bad in fact they exude such manliness while Asian visual kei boys more often than not always get confused girls cuz of the feminine facial structure. Like the ones from Tokio Hotel, Click Five, Boys like Girls and  Panic! at the Disco. But they're just not my type. Perhaps I'm more attracted to porcelain skinned J-rockers whose fair skin is perfectly framed by that sexy smokey eyes?

Their hairstyle is to die for too.

Gazette's Uruha always has the killer hairstyle.

Now then... the guitars~ No bishi (good-looking) guitarist should go without a bishi guitar! Their guitars must be able to grab as much attention from the crowd as their faces do!

The best one goes to

the GazettE, Aoi's signature black guitar, GrassRoots. The one above is double-neck version in their MV GUREN.

Single-neck version. See how shiny it is?? Bad-ass too!

Just to name a few who I know.Guitarists with their guitars;
 Soloist Miyavi.

 Uruha.

 Aoi.

 Alice Nine's Bassist, Saga.

Alice Nine's guitarist, Hiroto.

Other than that, gotta love their fashion sense.

Rocker studded jackets are always a win-win.

Hyooo~

Nope, the third person with blonde hair is not a girl. Ahahaha~

from GazettE's 'Before I Decay' MV. I really like Aoi's style here.

Uruha's too. Sexy black and white.

Both Alice Nine's Saga and Tora always manage to look so deliciously good. They've got this electrifying angmoh looks. Gosh, look at how sharp their noses are.

Saga.

I clearly understand why this girl model goes absolutely gaga for him. Hurhhh! *fuels in jealousy*

He even makes traditional yukata look so damn good

Now to end this post,

Alice Nine's 2008 DISCOTHEQUE Live performance. Song titled "Rainbow".

p/s: My darling boy boy, you may not play guitar or wear eyeliner,
you're still my number one~ XD

If you've been eying on something you wanted for a while, one way to have it sooner is DO IT YOURSELF, right?

When I first saw Vocaloid's 'Magnet' headphone I went into a search frenzy for its pictures and tutorials on deviantart that I even sacrificed my sleeping hours and study time.

Found this one by far the best ever made, in my opinion. So I used this as reference to make my own. In case you're wondering why is it called "Magnet Headphones", it actually refers to the popular song titled "Magnet" sung by Vocaloids Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku. Well, not exactly "sung by", more like synthesized singing. Wiki it up all you'll understand.

In this particular song, "Magnet", the two characters wore headphones with butterfly wings attached.

Enough of that and let's begin the tutorials!

First and foremost, refer to available tutorials be it on Youtube or Deviantart.

List of deviant tutorials :
Type 1 - http://rainbowmaple.deviantart.com/art/Magnet-headphone-Tutorial-130637249?q=boost%3Apopular+magnet+headphone+tutorial&qo=3
http://cardcaptorkiki.deviantart.com/art/TUTORIAL-Magnet-Headphones-147305851

Type 2- http://rorin25cc.deviantart.com/art/Magnet-Tutorial-157308250?q=boost%3Apopular+magnet+headphone+tutorial&qo=5

The two above are just extra reference to combine the methods making it more convenient for me. This one below is the method I followed with a little modification.

I'm using my own modified method so the materials are not entirely the same with the tutorials above.

Materials I used :
1. Any kind of black paper (hard type or normal).
2. Semi-transparent blue hard plastic cardstock (the one used as file dividers or covers for project folios).
3. Scissors.
4. Sharp knife.
5. Paper clips and hair pins to hold the papers together while cutting.
6. Last and most important, in-use headphone or unused headphone that can no longer function.

I'm using my Ovleng headphone that is still functioning. I picked it cuz of its perfect circular ear shells and its blue colour to go with the blue wings I intend to attach to it. I'm using hard plastic cardstock so that the wings can stay upright instead of drooping or flap madly when wind blows.

Next thing is know how you want the wings to look like. Best not to draw out yourself unless you want to modify it to maybe longer. I refered to templates on deviantart, printed them out on normal white A4 paper in black and white then cut them out.

Butterfly wing template

Design on earpiece

You will need FOUR cut-out wings, TWO of black paper and TWO of the blue one.

To start cutting out the butterfly wings,
1. First, cut out the outline shape of the printed black and white wing template.
2. Stack together two of the black papers and two of the blue plastic cards.
3. Put the printed wing template on TOP of the stacks as reference cutline as you cut out the shape.

4. Before that, hold the papers and cards together with paper clips and hair pins.

You'll have something like this.

See why I choose this hard plastic cardstock? The beauty of its semi-transparency is indescribable and the deep blue colour is just perfect. It can actually make the wings look more "lively" rather than flat solid blue colour paper.

Okay, now the thing is you want to cut out the black papers following the lines on the wing template. Leave the blue plastic card as it is there's no need to cut them cause you'll be pasting the black papers on top of them.

Cutting out the butterfly wings outline :
1. Hold the two cut-out black papers and the wing template together once more with paper clips.

2. Shade the the area bounded by the outlines that you're going to cut in case you get confused and mistakenly cut.
3. Take a sharp knife and start cutting following the lines like this,

4. Clean any uneven cuts by trimming using scissors and you'll have your cut-out black papers like this,

Glue.

Using super glue, apply it on the backside of the black papers and just paste them on the blue plastic card following the shape. Don't apply too much of the glue in case the paper gets wrinkly as it absorbs moisture.

Clean and trim out any protruding part that don't follow to the black papers.

Now you have a pair of wings like these!

Earpiece design.
Last but not least, cut out the circular earpiece designs and just paste them on your headphone ear shells like this,
(this one is my dysfunction headphone)

(this one is my still functioning headphone. I didn't use superglue to glue the
designs on it but instead i just use cellophane tape in case I want to take them off)

*DRUM ROLLS~*

..

..

..

FINALLY YOU HAVE YOUR VERY OWN MAGNET HEADPHONES!

Voila~

*faints at its beauty*

There are alternative methods you can use to make this headphone like using Styrofoams or model magic to create your own ear shells then paste them on a normal hairband.

It's a one of the kind ACCESSORY.
And it still functional for me to enjoy my fav songs.

Am I gonna wear it out to public?
Hmm...

NOT A CHANCE!

My grandma called me up to go for this trip. She told me it was going to be 3 days but who knew on the 3rd day she told me my uncle extended the stay to another 2 days making it a total of 5 days. Whoohoo? Not quite. I didn't like the idea of being in the same room with my two little cousins. They're noted to be really nosy and a chore to take care of. At least that's what I thought on the first day.

We checked in to Damai Puri on Tuesday.

Coming here really makes me feel nostalgic about my Prefect's trip here last year.

So I was really happy to have come to Damai Puri instead of Damai Beach but then...

.............................

Visually, can you hear the sound of crickets?

It's so lonely it reminds me of "I know what you did last summer" thriller movie.
The kind that makes me feel like I'm stranded on a lonely island.

But then quiet and few guests can be good. You have the pool all for yourself. And basically there aren't passers-by staring at you as you sit and enjoy the sunny day at the balcony.

It was a cloudy day, me, my two cous and my grandma decided to go for a tour around the resort.

Beach side. Interesting. looks like something heavy just fell down from the sky and created this impact "ripples". Spaceship perhaps???

Not artistic i know.

SECOND DAY.

How dreary.

Cousins (especially the youngest one) wanted to go for a swim. Not much to elaborate. The TV was colonized by my two cousins to watch cartoons so I didn't have much to do the whole day. Much of sleeping and eating and lazing at the balcony watching the clouds slowly dragging across the sky, and lots of chess game with my cousin sister.

THIRD DAY, CHECK OUT. i thought i was finally heading home but who knew we moved to DAMAI BEACH (just next door to damai puri) to spend the fourth and 5th day.

Crap.

But surprisingly...

The room my uncle booked at Damai Beach was a SUITE.

A homey, comfy, spacious SUITE instead of a Puri room where 5 people cramped in.

And yea. TWO beds! No need for someone to sleep on the floor anymore.

AND THERE ARE TWO TVS~~

My granny.

Okay so it wasn't so bad to stay for another two days what harm could there be?
Afterall I already endured 3 days straight.

Muhahaha the comforter is all mine~~~

The best thing is.........!!!

There's a parlor FACING the beach woots!

Though it's a little unsafe cuz there aren't fence gate to close. Anyone could've walked right in to our parlor.

NEXT MORNING!
What a beautiful day! Sitting at the parlor sipping a cup of tea and watching the waves come crashing down the shore at early morning! Too bad we can't see the sun rise.

Went out for a tour with only my cousin sister. She's tolerable, one thing. Her younger brother is frankly too nosy. Acting like a know-it-all. He sees one thing he wants to elaborate his knowledge on it. I don't like kids like that. Makes me wanna zip up the mouth.

My cousin sister, Kim, however, she may asks lots of question bout my 20 years of life and how it's like, but since she's entering the dreaded "teenage era", I want to be there to guide her. Cuz she's the elder sister in HER family and I'm the youngest in MY family. I grew up watching my sister making mistakes and learned from it but who's there to be the older one for my sis cousin to look up to?

ANYWAY.

Another round of chess game!

Only better.

Cuz the chess pieces are HUGE!

Reminds me of Harry Potter's sorcerer's chess game where the chess pieces come alive and move across the board without you touching it!

How nice. If only this one was the same.

Yes, think hard dear cousin cuz I'm beating you.

For almost every round of our chess game, I was black and she wanted to be the white.
She was like "why'd you want black so much cuz everyone always wanted to be the white".
I answered "black is my lucky colour".

No, actually. It's the influence from watching too much of Kuroshitsuji.

We didn't actually finish the game cuz it took so long and the sun was starting to get scorching hot. If it's settled then I could've won cuz I had her Queen in captive. Muhahahahaha.

Chess game isn't so dreary afterall. I actually got better in playing it! Before, I always got pwned so badly in computer chess game. Got checkmated within 5 minutes wtf

Ice-cream~~~ Damn expensive yea? Wall's Cornetto was like RM5 - RM6 for one.

Kid's playground. First time I see an ACTUAL TREE house. Look at the tree trunk!

Then back to our room.

More of chess game. *smacks forehead*

This time is a miniature magnet type.

Then i got called by aunt to help her with the exam papers. My jobs was simply to see if the marks for every section tally with the total marks. Cousin sister was there to help out too. 4 pairs of eyes to check them.

And I came across something interesting...

Lol. The poor thing wanted to spell "beach" I think.

As in "collected eggs at the beach",something like that.

*rolls on floor laughing*

After everything was done, we went out for a walk again.

I gotta say, Damai Beach definitely isn't as boring as puri. You get to play games and take part in activities like "How to use the sumpit".

FOR FREE~

At puri, one hour of bike cycling costs RM10. No free games there.

So we tried out golf.

Kim was surprising very good at it. Kid spirit huh?
Damn
I feel old.

Late afternoon, we went to sit down by the beach.

More people were coming out to have a soak in the waters.

Me wants that kite.

The colours on the kite compliments the blue sky so well.

Loving this shot a lot. It's like a painting.

Cousie enjoying the beauty of nature. (kononnya lah~)

NIGHT FALL.

CHESS GAME, AGAIN! This time, computer game version. Her brother is friggin' good in chess. Cuz computer game chess is considered quite difficult to me cuz i never once won before but he was able to checkmate the PC opponent in a matter of minutes.
I still won him in the miniature magnet chess game anyway. His cockiness gets the better of him and it cost him a mistake.
Then he said "hmph nevermind I let you win cuz i want the game to end quickly". Shhyeah right? Kids these days. =.=

Morning of last day.

Went out for a stroll by the beach side with grandma.

Hide tide waves. Very unpredictable too. The next wave coming can come crashing down on you unexpectedly.

Scary~ The thought of the waves pulling you out to the open sea.

After 12p.m we checked out.

Home at last~ all in all, the trip was pretty good time to let off some steam after the exams. I get to know my cousins more too. Strange that for so many years I never actually want to be close with my cousins? It's cuz I never like kids. But anyway, I think my mindset changed a little after days of being in the same room with them. They're just being kids, can't blame them.

Nao, chess game anyone??
