My grandma called me up to go for this trip. She told me it was going to be 3 days but who knew on the 3rd day she told me my uncle extended the stay to another 2 days making it a total of 5 days. Whoohoo? Not quite. I didn't like the idea of being in the same room with my two little cousins. They're noted to be really nosy and a chore to take care of. At least that's what I thought on the first day.

We checked in to Damai Puri on Tuesday.

Coming here really makes me feel nostalgic about my Prefect's trip here last year.

So I was really happy to have come to Damai Puri instead of Damai Beach but then...

.............................

Visually, can you hear the sound of crickets?

It's so lonely it reminds me of "I know what you did last summer" thriller movie.
The kind that makes me feel like I'm stranded on a lonely island.

But then quiet and few guests can be good. You have the pool all for yourself. And basically there aren't passers-by staring at you as you sit and enjoy the sunny day at the balcony.

It was a cloudy day, me, my two cous and my grandma decided to go for a tour around the resort.

Beach side. Interesting. looks like something heavy just fell down from the sky and created this impact "ripples". Spaceship perhaps???

Not artistic i know.

SECOND DAY.

How dreary.

Cousins (especially the youngest one) wanted to go for a swim. Not much to elaborate. The TV was colonized by my two cousins to watch cartoons so I didn't have much to do the whole day. Much of sleeping and eating and lazing at the balcony watching the clouds slowly dragging across the sky, and lots of chess game with my cousin sister.

THIRD DAY, CHECK OUT. i thought i was finally heading home but who knew we moved to DAMAI BEACH (just next door to damai puri) to spend the fourth and 5th day.

Crap.

But surprisingly...

The room my uncle booked at Damai Beach was a SUITE.

A homey, comfy, spacious SUITE instead of a Puri room where 5 people cramped in.

And yea. TWO beds! No need for someone to sleep on the floor anymore.

AND THERE ARE TWO TVS~~

My granny.

Okay so it wasn't so bad to stay for another two days what harm could there be?
Afterall I already endured 3 days straight.

Muhahaha the comforter is all mine~~~

The best thing is.........!!!

There's a parlor FACING the beach woots!

Though it's a little unsafe cuz there aren't fence gate to close. Anyone could've walked right in to our parlor.

NEXT MORNING!
What a beautiful day! Sitting at the parlor sipping a cup of tea and watching the waves come crashing down the shore at early morning! Too bad we can't see the sun rise.

Went out for a tour with only my cousin sister. She's tolerable, one thing. Her younger brother is frankly too nosy. Acting like a know-it-all. He sees one thing he wants to elaborate his knowledge on it. I don't like kids like that. Makes me wanna zip up the mouth.

My cousin sister, Kim, however, she may asks lots of question bout my 20 years of life and how it's like, but since she's entering the dreaded "teenage era", I want to be there to guide her. Cuz she's the elder sister in HER family and I'm the youngest in MY family. I grew up watching my sister making mistakes and learned from it but who's there to be the older one for my sis cousin to look up to?

ANYWAY.

Another round of chess game!

Only better.

Cuz the chess pieces are HUGE!

Reminds me of Harry Potter's sorcerer's chess game where the chess pieces come alive and move across the board without you touching it!

How nice. If only this one was the same.

Yes, think hard dear cousin cuz I'm beating you.

For almost every round of our chess game, I was black and she wanted to be the white.
She was like "why'd you want black so much cuz everyone always wanted to be the white".
I answered "black is my lucky colour".

No, actually. It's the influence from watching too much of Kuroshitsuji.

We didn't actually finish the game cuz it took so long and the sun was starting to get scorching hot. If it's settled then I could've won cuz I had her Queen in captive. Muhahahahaha.

Chess game isn't so dreary afterall. I actually got better in playing it! Before, I always got pwned so badly in computer chess game. Got checkmated within 5 minutes wtf

Ice-cream~~~ Damn expensive yea? Wall's Cornetto was like RM5 - RM6 for one.

Kid's playground. First time I see an ACTUAL TREE house. Look at the tree trunk!

Then back to our room.

More of chess game. *smacks forehead*

This time is a miniature magnet type.

Then i got called by aunt to help her with the exam papers. My jobs was simply to see if the marks for every section tally with the total marks. Cousin sister was there to help out too. 4 pairs of eyes to check them.

And I came across something interesting...

Lol. The poor thing wanted to spell "beach" I think.

As in "collected eggs at the beach",something like that.

*rolls on floor laughing*

After everything was done, we went out for a walk again.

I gotta say, Damai Beach definitely isn't as boring as puri. You get to play games and take part in activities like "How to use the sumpit".

FOR FREE~

At puri, one hour of bike cycling costs RM10. No free games there.

So we tried out golf.

Kim was surprising very good at it. Kid spirit huh?
Damn
I feel old.

Late afternoon, we went to sit down by the beach.

More people were coming out to have a soak in the waters.

Me wants that kite.

The colours on the kite compliments the blue sky so well.

Loving this shot a lot. It's like a painting.

Cousie enjoying the beauty of nature. (kononnya lah~)

NIGHT FALL.

CHESS GAME, AGAIN! This time, computer game version. Her brother is friggin' good in chess. Cuz computer game chess is considered quite difficult to me cuz i never once won before but he was able to checkmate the PC opponent in a matter of minutes.
I still won him in the miniature magnet chess game anyway. His cockiness gets the better of him and it cost him a mistake.
Then he said "hmph nevermind I let you win cuz i want the game to end quickly". Shhyeah right? Kids these days. =.=

Morning of last day.

Went out for a stroll by the beach side with grandma.

Hide tide waves. Very unpredictable too. The next wave coming can come crashing down on you unexpectedly.

Scary~ The thought of the waves pulling you out to the open sea.

After 12p.m we checked out.

Home at last~ all in all, the trip was pretty good time to let off some steam after the exams. I get to know my cousins more too. Strange that for so many years I never actually want to be close with my cousins? It's cuz I never like kids. But anyway, I think my mindset changed a little after days of being in the same room with them. They're just being kids, can't blame them.

Nao, chess game anyone??

To sum it all up...

1. By God's grace, I got accepted into University Sains Malaysia for the course I wanted, Graphic Communication.
2. About the *beep* interview I went in April, I got put under "reserved" list. (Must be the hamsap interviewer's doing).
3. No news from my submission for Landscape Architecture. Probably it's coz I've already accepted USM's offer.

In conclusion...

USM Penang, here I come.

I'm guessing it was this graphic I made that helped me get through the interview.

Comments? :)

Currently there're so many things running through my head...

I can't believe I'll be leaving my hometown in 2 days.
To a place I have never stepped foot on.
A foreign place.
Unfamiliar.
To actually live there...
To fend for myself....
Alone.

(I'm scaring myself). -.- Lol Lol Lol~

That's not true. I'm actually surprised at myself that I can be so calm about the whole thing. Though I'd be lying if I say that I'm not worried one bit. It's just that I'm taking all the preparations and stuff in a stride. Like a walk in a park. Letting everything go with the flow.
I can't say that I'm bothered about having to do chores on my own from now on. I'm actually more worried about the condition of my household once I left. Like, my mom's health. I do hope that she doesn't overworked herself since she has the tendency to do so. I'm also worried that my monthly expanses will be a burden to her. I do wished that I never had to leave to a place that far. But if it is God's will, then let it be done.

My only prayer is that my family will always be alright.

NOT TO MENTION MY ROOM. My room is my sanctuary. I don't want to see it turned into a pig sty the next time I come back!!! *eyes at my sister and her son =.=* I am very the koh tak punya.

Anyway, June has been an eventful month.

I went to school last week to say thanks and goodbyes to my teachers since I did make a promise the day I received my STPM result to one of my teachers to go back and see them.

I made this simple mini cards tied with 5 different coloured origami cranes for 5 different teachers. I was lucky that I had the chance to met up with all of them in a day without needing to go back again.

Had my scaling done at dentist clinic on 22nd together with my aunt. Damn. I didn't that it would be THAT painful. My aunt who did it as her first didn't know about it too. She thought it was just polishing teeth and whitening them up. Freggin' hell. Freggin' ultra sonic sound device-whatever. My gum totally bleed non-stop. Was literally screaming in pain. Terrified screams in harmony with the zzzzznnnt ultra sonic sound. No wonder people hated going to the dentist. Freggin' dentist yanked my lower lip so tightly that there's literally a hole(ulcer) on it now.

Spelt my middle name wrong... Awin. Since when I became hua nah?

Submitted forms for chocolate contest together with my aunt for RM30 receipt of purchase. Coz she and my grandma were both nagging in each ear that I could stand a chance to win a 2 days 2 nights stay at Damai Puri. Submitted it anyway. Then grandma was nagging that if I won the prize I might run away with it to enjoy it with Fadly. (seriously wth?)

Out of exasperation due to my grandma's lack of trust, I prayed that I would not get the first prize.

So in the end both my aunt and I got just consolation prize. Tudor chocolate hampers. AMEN.

I rescued a puppy out of the drain. I named it Paws coz it's wholly black and has one paw white with spots on it.
I occasionally fed it since the kids on first floor do feed it too. Few days after that...

Puppy times two. Brown female puppy appeared out of nowhere. I named it Spots coz it has a black spot near its tail. Spots love to bite.

The kids also had names for the puppies. I overheard them calling Paws Fa Fa. Which I totally laughed. I told Fadly about it, he laughed too.

Then one unfortunate day,

Was out with Fadly and his mom. Around Satok area as our car drove out of the junction, a stone came flying and hit on Fadly's(driver) side of mirror. Totally shattering the glass. I was shocked coz it sounded like a gunshot for sure. Then I turned and saw a grass-cutter-guy, immediately I knew that the stone must have came flying from his cutter-thing.

Since then, I had trauma whenever our car passes by grass-cutter workers. My hands would impulsively jerk up cover my face.

*sigh*

I hate big cities. Like, very urban-metropolitan kind of places. Coz I hate crowds. Penang has the 2nd largest population, second to KL.

I'll certainly get home sick. I'll be missing a lot of things here.

For instance, my Sephiroth.

I wanted to bring him over but... I don't want anyone touching him. -.- But then if I left it here, Bryan might play it. Else, BREAK IT. Will lock Sephi up.

I'll also miss GreenHill's chicken rice, Sarawak laksa and Kuching's sio bi.

In dire need of more formal clothes. One thing's good about leaving is that I've shopped for lots of clothes. The joy of shopping. I can see many cash notes flying away. I bought another kind of skirt from Padini that isn't as tight fitting and short like this one.

My preparations are so-so at the moment. There are still few things left to buy and do like certifying my certs.

So far, I've packed up my clothes. This is my hill full of clothes. Notice that they are mostly dark in colour? And Penang will be scorching hot.

I know for sure, I'll get addicted and have a terrible craving to play games.

I'll definitely crave playing Final Fantasy 12.

With all that said,

I guess, nothing can compare to one and only thing...

...really really really, truly, and with my whole heartache...

...I'll be missing him.
..
