Januaryful of gadgets!

Okay. I may not be a shopaholic in clothes and shoes BUT I know I don't mind spending when it comes to tech stuff!

...becoming more like a guy.

You'd think that a guy must be such a money saver cuz he does not splurge on clothes regularly like girls do. But you know how it is when a guy sees a latest gadget like iPhone4! The point is, when a guy spends on ONE iPhone rather than a girl spending on clothes(mostly when there's sale) at one time, so who's the bigger spender here?

This month I really did not hold back when buying the gadgets that I have now.
PTPTN, I blame you!

I've never never never never never ever ever in 21 years of my life get to spend 1k in a month!!!!

*heaves a deep sigh*

"1000 only mar... ". Is that what you're thinking? Well it's big deal for me if that means I'm one step poorer from getting my hands on Canon DSLR that costs 2.4k.

Some more, I blame USM for having TWO pc fairs in this month. One is PIKOM, another is normal ICT Expo.

Anyway... It's not like I'm guilty or what. Besides, these gadgets can be used even until I've graduated. And I liekk them very much. Because they really serve their purpose and relief me of my burdens.

For example!!!!

#1

LOUIS VUITTON LAPTOP SKIN RM8 only

It's nice cuz it's THE Louis Vuitton although it's fake and it's vinyl instead of leather.
It's nice cuz it's mad cheap and one-of-the-kind.
It's nice cuz it keeps my laptop from being clumsily scratched by me.

#2
Canon printer PIXMA MP258 for RM239.

This one a bit not worthit. Cuz I saw another sale that offers only RM198 @@$@bbQ^& really.

But it was really urgent for me to get one. Now and until today, I don't have to rush out of my comfy room just to get one friggin' page printed.

Another thing that's highly terrible and bo pian about this printer is no inkjets were given. Instead, RM239 for external cheap lousy ink that if you're not careful and drop it, your hands and floor get inked.

Free glossy paper. This type of ink can print on gloss paper??

Print on normal paper okay la... Though the color isn't as vibrant and sharp as inkjet's.

#3 and lastly!

RM398.
 ........

ojipala don't know how to read I don't even know the brand name after buying it!!!!

Okay. Basically, on the box it says "handwriter". For the people who want to write chinese characters and have it transfered to PC. Also, for signature and MSN handwritting purposes.

But since I don't even know how to write chinese, what for did I buy it?

Unboxing...

Cuz it's tablet that also can be used for digital painting using photoshop.

Okay. At first I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYY wanted Wacom. I battled between myself and over the salesboy's convincing words although he spoke in mandarin which in most part I don't geddit and I just nod nod. He said why this tablet that I dunno its brand name is so special it's because it has PRESSURE SENSITIVE SENSOR. Which Wacom supposedly DON'T have for its product within this price range.

Pressure sensitive effect means it's like when you hold on a gel pen, if you lightly tap it on a paper there's a fine and clean dot on it. But if you push the pen hard on the paper, the ink will leak out and spread over the paper into a darker dot and may smudge.
So this is like digital pressure. The good thing about this is it's like really painting or writing on paper. Meaning, the digital outcome will be almost the same as that comes out on paper depending on how to control the pen stroke or pressure on the tablet. Cool eh?

However, I have not fully tried and explore the wonders of it.

Because this tablet ada tulisan cina on it, I really battled with my inner conscience whether I should buy it or not. It's not china made, it's taiwan made.

Now why should I look down on china products since china has hosted grand Beijing Olympic and has a MAD talented digital artist who goes by the pseudoname "HEISE JINYAO"??

So that's why, I bought it lor... I even brought my laptop to the expo and tried it on my photoshop to see if it works smoothly.

One thing I don't like is if the pen hilang, MATILAH. This tablet will be just like a normal black slab.

All in all, I'm really satisfied with the sensitivity.
Wohohohoho it's like iPad with ojipala chinese words on it.

Now I shall try its wonders on my dull black and white scanned drawings! Since I'm a deviant now having a tablet is sort of like an asset.
