Penang, here I am!!!

I'll make this a quick post! Coz now it's 2a.m and I'm supposed to be up early. @.@
Orientation will be on-going for 7-8 days! That means no internet for a whole week so no matter what I'm still gonna do this post even if I'm gonna be in deep shit if I make it there late.

Left on the night of 30th June together with Fadly and Miko. Thank you all who made it to see us off! Thanks Audrey-sama! *love hugs kisses~*

Miko and her parents seats were just next to ours. How lucky is that. We chatted by writing on my notepad.

Airbus.

We landed about 10.20p.m. By the time we got to our hotel it was already late so obviously no outings. Besides, it's not like it's Bukit Bintang, KL where shops are opened till late midnight. So we waited til the next morning.

DAY 1~
Dropped off at Plaza Gurney after lunch at some Burmese kopitiam. Expensive lah! Literally making our wallets bleed for a freakin' rice with 3 types of veges and NO MEAT! Soup not free some more. It's RM1 for one bowl. But drinks are cheaper. RM1 for one Kopi kaw. I'd rather spend my RM1 for another cup of drink!

Gurney Plaza is situated beside the sea. How nice! Didn't take pics there coz we spent most of our time shopping for my essentials in the plaza. Plus there''s a extended new wing making the place really endless to explore! I even had to new pair of shoes for comfort walking.

But then the food at the food court specifically, not satisfactory. No one really goes there anyway. People are going for the restaurants outside the food court. Definitely DON'T go for the Penang Delights! WHY?
They've got no decent ingredients.
Ada udang tak?
TAK ADA.
Daging ayam ada lah hor?
TAK ADA BO.
Sayur?
TAK ADA JUGA.
Itu sausage leh?
TAK ADA.
JADI APA YOU ADA???

They gave my mom fried rice with just egg and SPRING ONIONS only. Price - RM5.00.
RICE IS HARD AND NOT COOKED.
Specifically told them not to cook my Kueh Tiaw spicy, they gave it to me SPICY with obvious chopped DRIED red chillies. I asked them;
Saya bagi tau awak tak mau pedas YOU bagi saya pedas?
OHH bukan itu bukan pedas... itu saja... saja... saja itu........
NEVER MIND. Price of kueh tiaw - RM5.00.
long piak ah.
BALIK RUMAH LAH YOU!

Anyway after much shopping, we went home. Bought sushi from the Cold Storage.

RM5.99RM7++.

DAY 2~
We moved to another hotel nearer to my campus. Not that near but it's around Queensbay. Which is why we went there for shopping the rest of my essentials.

One thing I really support is Penang's effort to make the world a better place.
By reducing the use of plastic which is non-degradable!

Also went to my campus and its hostel to drop my stuff there. I'm surprised how my hostel actually turned out!!!

There's living room AND kitchen!

Fully equipped with furniture! Mom is sooo loving the kitchen!
(her most favorite part of any house).

No lah... Was just kidding.

If I do get a room for a hostel like that, I must be the datuk's daughter.

This is actually a family SUITE.

KRYSTAL SUITE HOTEL.

Very the nice lohhh... It's like a condominium.

And THIS...
Ziz is my hostel. =______= No pics of room.
Coz it's ugly.
Need to wear slippers wan.
Or else feet can get black.
The thing that I'm surprised about my hostel is right after opening the door it's a ROOM. No living room like an apartment.

Where got so good hor? In my dreams.

Damn. I want a room like family suite.

WE GOT IT FOR ONLY RM150 a night.

Special price lah. If walk-in it's impossible to get a price below RM200.

Dad's is so loving the office table.

The room is DAMN HUGE. Like the size of an average semi-D living room.

King size bed.

NEXT! We went to Queensbay by cab. So near lah! Charged RM15. @#$^%&& taxi driver.

Anyway this is a REALLY enjoyable mall. VERY NICE. Very chic.

There's TOP SHOP and FOREVER 21 boutiques!

Food at the food court was great. My chicken + egg claypot rice.

Mom's Penang laksa.

Smells sour. And not nice. And the broth isn't thick like I've heard from people. =.=

More like belacan bihun. Which I really pantang have it near me within 1 metre radius.

Lots of mirrors in the food court. To create illusion coz the food court was pretty small.

Went to JUSCO.

1. Bought onigiri (rice ball) for myself. Always wanted to try one.

RM2.50, not discounted price. There's even 30% discount for it!

Although it tastes not as shiok as TEMAKI. YUM yum~

2. My sis' share. Only RM8+ for all of these! Next time go JUSCO buy sushi!

Thank goodness it's near my campus.

Rows and rows of sushi.

And that's not all! There's even TAKOYAKI!!!!! Forgot to take pic. >.< onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZiJMz9f_VkkTuAGkf-7egvyQYNHushBW8ZUtCoQWqs2aOyASfzFRCj35CaA_GnEoWKEKerNuycytIF99Ebx4pJL0j4joJqNuqB3FP7eDlWEeA2OA7b68u8Titw8Fr-GLUJyFgk1v3scw/s1600/DSC00729.JPG">
Sponge and dish cleaner for dish washing.
Detergent for washing clothes.

Some other stuff include stationery set. Extension wires. Carpet for clean feet. Buckets. Slippers.

I forgot to buy shampoo!!! I though I brought it with me but after double-checking I just remembered that I forgot it! @.@

Gotta pen off. SLEEP!
Fingers are freezing.

Nights!
